About Me

I am a wife, mom, knitter, homeschooler and blogger.

The name of my blog, Pilgrims at Tinker Creek, is inspired by the book of the same name: Pilgrim at Tinker Creek, by Annie Dillard. We do, in fact, live right by Tinker Creek...and we are creatively inspired by the landscape just as Annie Dillard is.

My girls are 12, 9 and 8. We live in Botetourt County, Virginia. The Blue Ridge Mountains, Appalachian Trail and Jefferson National Forest are literally in our backyard. We spend a lot of time outside in the forest or on the mountain. Inside, we make time for creativity, art and music. Who are you? Leave us a comment.
